c Kapahukula K. Voorhees, 29, of Kealakekua, pleaded guilty April 30 to second-degree bail jumping. He was sentenced May 29 to serve six months in jail, with credit for time served, and pay a $55 fine.
c Hakunaaalii P. Kane, 18, of Kailua-Kona, pleaded guilty May 7 to first-degree burglary. He received a five-year deferred acceptance of his plea with conditions he pay $755 in fines and fees and serve six months incarceration, with credit for time served and all but 30 days suspended.
c Shila Abong, 21, of Naalehu, pleaded guilty March 7 to third-degree promoting a dangerous drug. She received on May 7 a five-year deferred acceptance of her plea with conditions she pay $1,605 in fines and fees and serve six months incarceration, with credit for time served and all but 10 days suspended.
c Jason Wayne Collins, 37, of Kona, pleaded guilty May 7 to first-degree bail jumping. He was sentenced to five years probation with conditions he pay $9,827.03 in fees, fines and restitution, serve six months incarceration, with credit for time served and all remaining jail time suspended, and write an apology letter to the victim.
c Elpidio Del Castillo, 47, of Kona, pleaded guilty May 8 to indecent exposure. He was sentenced to six months probation with conditions he pay $105 in fees and serve five days incarceration, with credit for time served and all remaining time suspended.
c Noah Mokealoha Alani, 24, of Kona, pleaded guilty April 11 to second-degree assault. He was sentenced May 9 to five years probation with conditions he serve intermittently 285 days in jail, with credit for time served, pay $8,607.85 in restitution and fees, and write an apology letter to the victim.
c Jory Ann Contreras, 55, of Waikoloa, pleaded guilty May 9 to third-degree theft. She received a one-year deferred acceptance of her plea with conditions she pay $2,638 in fines and fees, serve 30 days incarceration, with credit for time served and all remaining time suspended, enter a National Association for Shoplifter Prevention shoplifter alternative program and write an apology letter to the victim.
c Kalehuamakanoe Manuia, 21, of Kurtistown, pleaded guilty May 9 to first-degree attempted unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and first-degree unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle. She received a five-year deferred acceptance of her plea with conditions she pay $860 in fines and fees, serve one year incarceration, with credit for time served and all but 30 days suspended, and write an apology letter to the victim.
